Somewhere out there, a Korean skincare brand is about to break $100,000 a day in ad spend, and they still haven't found the person who's going to get them there. That gap exists because most "creative strategists" can brief an editor and call it a day. This role isn't that. This is for someone who can look at an ad account doing eight figures, spot the angle nobody else has run, and turn it into the next top spender within 30 days.

Is a fast-scaling, VC-free Korean skincare brand bringing premium K-Beauty formulations to the US market at prices people can actually afford. They're on track to hit $70M in revenue this year, growing a 20-person team fast, and betting almost entirely on Meta ads to get there. The founders are hands-on, easy to work with, and obsessed with one thing: creative that wins.

This is a full-time, remote contractor role.


WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Real ownership from day one. You won't be running someone else's playbook. You'll own the research, the angles, the briefs, and the calls on what scales.
  • Uncapped upside. Two separate bonus structures: one based on tiers of ad spend and target ROAS, one tied directly to the winning concepts you produce. When you win, it shows up in your pay.
  • A clear path to leadership. Perform here and you're on track to become Head of Creative Strategy, managing the department and other strategists reporting to you.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

This is a senior, hands-on performance creative role with end-to-end ownership. You'll lead a pod made up of 2-3 video editors and a graphic designer.

You will:

  • Research the top-performing brands in the space to constantly feed new angles and concepts into the pipeline.
  • Develop winning creative ideas and iterate on them fast based on what the data tells you.
  • Brief editors in clear direction, structure, and exact execution for every ad, no guesswork.
  • Review submissions, give sharp feedback, and approve final creatives for the media buyer to launch.
  • Own weekly output of 30 concepts across video and static ads.
  • Monitor performance daily, draw real conclusions from the data, and use them to kill losers and scale winners fast.
  • Report directly to the Creative Lead and stay closely aligned with the media buyer on what's actually working in the account.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a dedicated Creative Strategist, not a hybrid role where it was 10% of your job.
  • You've worked with a brand doing $1M+ a month in revenue, ideally $30M+ a year, with the majority of that growth driven through Meta ads.
  • You have direct response copywriting experience. This is close to a non-negotiable for the founders.
  • You come from the DTC ecommerce world and know what performance creative actually looks like at scale.
  • You're fluent in Meta Ads and comfortable working with AI ad tools like Arcads and Higgsfield.
  • You can research a market, spot a gap, and turn it into a scroll-stopping concept without needing hand-holding.
  • You think like an owner; you don't wait to be told what to test next.
  • You communicate clearly and fast, especially over Slack, and you update people before they have to ask.

Bonus if you've:

  • Worked specifically in the skincare or cosmetics niche.
  • Helped scale a brand's daily ad spend past six figures.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 days: You've shipped your first winning ad that takes over as a top spender in the account.
  • 60 days: You're consistently hitting the 30-concept weekly output across video and statics, and your win rate is becoming predictable rather than lucky.
  • 90 days: You're producing weekly winners that scale to five figures a day in ad spend, and you've become a trusted, independent voice on creative direction, not someone waiting for a sign-off.
