Are you an analytical creative who prioritizes performance data over subjective design?

This performance-led DTC brand is looking for a Creative Strategist to own creative direction across core and emerging products, supporting testing and seven-figure monthly paid media spend.

The role focuses on turning performance data and research into clear creative briefs, working closely with media buyers, editors, designers, and UGC creators to produce ads that scale.

WHO THEY ARE

A fast-growing DTC brand in the fragrance and personal care niche, focused on a male audience, with paid social as its primary growth channel. The business operates at a seven-figure monthly media spend and is actively expanding beyond its core product into multiple SKUs.

They are:

  • Performance-driven: creative decisions are evaluated against CPA, win rate, and scale.
  • Execution-focused: strategy, media, and production work closely together to move from insight to live ads quickly and efficiently.
  • Fast-moving and accountable: testing velocity is high, iteration is constant, and ownership sits with the people closest to the work.

YOUR MISSION

To improve and scale creative performance across core and emerging products.

You will be responsible for maintaining a rigorous testing velocity, overseeing the ideation and briefing of approximately 50 unique concepts per week. You will ensure that every asset produced is rooted in performance data and designed to meet specific CPA and engagement targets.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Direct Growth Impact: Your creative output will be the primary driver for scaling the brand and successfully launching new product lines.
  • Professional Autonomy: You will have the resources and trust to execute your strategy and test your hypotheses without micromanagement.
  • Performance-Based Rewards: Compensation includes performance bonuses tied directly to ad spend and creative win rates.
  • Results-Oriented Culture: You will join a team that values efficiency, clear documentation, and a professional environment that rewards accountability.
  • Fully Remote & Flexible Environment: 100% remote within a structured, decentralized team.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Own creative strategy for one or more products across paid social, including both established and emerging SKUs.
  • Review performance data inside Meta and Motion to identify winning patterns, performance gaps, and clear testing opportunities.
  • Define creative testing priorities and decide what to scale, iterate, or discontinue based on results.
  • Develop clear, structured creative briefs for video editors, designers, and UGC creators, covering angles, hooks, formats, and iterations.
  • Work closely with media buyers through regular touchpoints to align creative direction with in-account performance and scaling plans.
  • Manage your creative pipeline and priorities using Asana, with day-to-day collaboration happening in Slack.
  • Guide execution quality through feedback and iteration, ensuring creative output matches strategic intent and performance standards.
  • Support the expansion into new SKUs by adapting creative strategy across different offers while maintaining consistent performance benchmarks.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a proven track record of working with Meta accounts, spending over 7 figures monthly.
  • You are experienced in driving creative direction through hard data and performance metrics.
  • You thrive in a team setting and lead meaningful conversations focused on continuous improvement.
  • You are experienced in developing structured creative briefs that editors, designers, and creators can execute against without friction.
  • You understand how angles, hooks, formats, and offers interact, and how to iterate them systematically.
  • You are organized, reliable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, remote environment where ownership and follow-through matter.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Intro Chat: A short conversation to dig into your background, portfolio, and what you’re looking for next.
  • Team interview: A call with the team to understand mutual fit, ways of working, and expectations.
  • Take-Home Task: A practical assignment designed to assess how you approach research, structure concepts, and deliver performance-ready creative work.
  • Final Interview: A final conversation to review your task, align on expectations, and discuss next steps.
