A fast-growing DTC skincare brand needs their first Senior Creative Strategist. The CMO is currently running media buying and creative direction simultaneously. That's the bottleneck. You're the solution.
You'll own the creative function end-to-end. The testing framework, the team, the briefs, the winners library, the weekly review, the rupture concepts. All of it. The CMO stays on paid strategy. You run creative.

Most DTC beauty brands start with a story and struggle to scale acquisition. This brand flipped it. They cracked profitable growth first. Now they're layering real science on top.
Team of 11. Flat structure. Direct access to founders. No layers between you and the decisions that matter.

This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role.

WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO
- Own creative strategy and testing priorities end-to-end, with the CMO as a strategic partner in a weekly sync.
- Manage and develop a team of 2 junior Creative Strategists, 1 CS assistant, and 2 video editors, running 1:1s, weekly reviews, and individual growth plans.
- Build the systems that make the team scalable: research SOPs, production pipeline, Milanote organisation, winners library. Target: 20% reduction in brief-to-live cycle time.
- Personally lead on rupture concepts and high-hypothesis tests, while the junior team handles recurring volume.
- Run weekly creative reviews that turn Meta performance data into sharp hypotheses and briefs for the week ahead.
- Set and hold the standard for creative output - each junior CS shipping ≥8 batches/week at a 15%+ win rate.
- Partner with the Head of Product and scientific board to bring clinical credibility into the creative work.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a strong background in direct response creative at a DTC brand doing €12M+ in revenue.
- You've led and developed a team of junior creatives and know the difference between managing and actually growing people.
- You're comfortable navigating a Meta Ads Manager account and use performance data to shape creative decisions, not to replace instinct, but to sharpen it.
- You understand how DTC funnels work: offers, AOV, landing pages, what moves the needle and why.
- You can build systems as well as you can build creative. From SOPs, pipelines, testing frameworks, onboarding playbooks.
- You're fluent in French and English.
- You're low ego and honest about what's working. You hold high standards without making it personal.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 days: Creative library and Meta account audited. 1:1s done. Bottlenecks identified.
