Most creative strategists get hired to fix a mess. This isn't that. This brand is already doing $400k a month with owned inventory and a warehouse full of stock, about to expand onto Amazon and TikTok Shop. The ad account is healthy, the offer works, and the team is small enough that nobody's hiding behind the process.


What they don't have yet is someone who can turn a hook rate into a strategy, someone who looks at the numbers and already knows what angle comes next. That's the gap you'd be walking into, and it's a wide open one.


WHO THEY ARE

This is a health and wellness DTC brand built around custom formulas, currently doing around $400k a month with owned stock and a warehouse in the US. They're profitable, growing, and about to expand beyond Meta and Google into Amazon and TikTok Shop. The creative team today is lean: one strategist and two editors. .

This is a full-time, remote contractor role.


WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Direct line to the founders. No layers of management between you and the people making decisions. You work with the co-founder daily.

WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO

  • Own the research and strategy behind around 10 unique creative briefs a week, with the goal of roughly doubling current testing capacity
  • Build AI UGC and short VSL concepts (roughly 1 to 2 minutes) based on what's actually converting in the account
  • Analyse performance data daily and translate it into new angles, not just new edits
  • Brief and direct two in-house editors to bring your concepts to life
  • Work side by side with the co-founder on new concepts, then run with proven angles independently
  • Track and report on hook rate, hold rate, CPA, CPC and CTR to know what's working before the data tells you
  • Push into new formats and hooks as the brand expands into Amazon and TikTok Shop
  • Build the kind of creative system that outlasts any single winning ad


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have direct-to-consumer marketing experience, ideally with a supplement or health brand spending at meaningful scale
  • You understand direct response principles: copywriting, research, what actually drives a hook to convert
  • You've used AI tools for scripting and creative development (comfortable with tools like Claude)
  • You can write and direct at the same time, briefs that editors can execute without back and forth
  • You think in data, not vibes: you know your hook rate from your hold rate and you know what moves each one
  • You're proactive about finding new angles before performance dips, not after


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 days: You understand the brand, the market, and the existing winning angles well enough to run with the system. First briefs are landing and getting real editor turnaround.
  • 60 days: Your briefs are hitting the target metrics (hook rate above 50%, hold rate above 40%, CPA under $25) consistently enough that the team trusts you with less oversight on new concepts.
  • 90 days: You've meaningfully grown testing volume, contributed to new customer revenue growth, and have a clear read on what this specific market responds to, becoming the go-to person for creative direction.
