In just one year, they moved from zero to dominating the wine accessories space. Now, they’re looking for a Head of Growth to help scale them to $50MM in revenue and beyond.

This is a fully remote, contractor role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE OWNING


Acquisition and Funnel Optimization

  • Own the entire DTC Growth function and drive profitable acquisition to hit the brand’s CAC:LTV targets.  
  • Oversee monthly budgets across Paid Social (Meta), Search (Google Ads), and new growth channels.  
  • Drive continuous CRO, funnel planning, offer testing, and get into the weeds of media buying.  
  • Build, test, and scale creative strategies with fast iteration cycles using data-driven feedback loops. 

Retention & Lifecycle Optimization

  • Own email/SMS, loyalty/retention strategies, and overhaul post-purchase flows.  
  • Implement systems to significantly reduce subscription churn and maximize LTV through Klaviyo.  
  • Conduct cohort analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improving customer retention.  

Data, Reporting & Budget Ownership

  • Fully own the P&L responsibility for marketing and growth budgets.  
  • Build dashboards and systems for real-time visibility into operational KPIs.  
  • Analyze funnel drop-offs, CAC:LTV ratios, and cohort data using the modern DTC stack (e.g., Triple Whale, Polar Analytics, GA4).  

Team and Agency Management

  • Manage internal talent and scale the growth team with A-players.
  • Hire and manage best-in-class agencies and freelancers where needed.
  • Help instil a culture of performance, pace, and excellence across the team.


WHO YOU ARE

  • Must have solid experience in scaling E-commerce/DTC brands, successfully navigated the hyper-growth journey from $10MM to $30M–$50M+ revenue. 
  • Proven experience to "do the doing"; expert-level in media buying, creative strategy, and funnel building.  
  • You are an entrepreneurial operator who solves problems autonomously, takes extreme ownership, and understands the challenges of growing a fast-scaling brand.
  • Deep expertise in the modern DTC stack: Shopify Plus, Meta/Google Ads, Klaviyo, Triple Whale/Polar Analytics, and GA4.  
  • Experience managing teams and agencies, and building high-performance marketing orgs.
