Imagine leading a design team where the work you guide shows up in front of thousands of shoppers every day. In this role, it’s not just about making things look good, it’s about creating designs that grab attention, build trust, and turn browsers into buyers.

You’ll be in charge of everything from Amazon listings to new product concepts, making sure the team’s output is not only creative but also drives results.

If you like the idea of blending strategic leadership with hands-on execution, this role could be a great fit.

YOUR MISSION

To lead and elevate the design function, ensuring the team produces world-class creative assets that drive sales, strengthen brand presence, and support new product launches. You’ll manage and mentor a team of designers, create detailed briefs, oversee workflows, and contribute directly to the design output yourself when needed. You’re not just here to manage; you’re here to lead by example.

WHO THEY ARE

This is no ordinary eCommerce company. You’ll be joining a fast-scaling eCommerce incubator behind seven high-performing brands, each built from the ground up with data, design, and performance at their core. With a proven formula for growth and innovation, this incubator thrives on launching and scaling products that shoppers actually want. Every day brings fresh challenges, creative freedom, and the chance to leave your mark on brands seen by millions.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • A fully remote role with working hours from 10:00 to 18:00 CET, where you get to work from wherever you’re most productive
  • Opportunity to lead and shape the design vision across multiple eCommerce brands
  • Direct impact: your team’s work will drive conversion rates, brand recognition, and customer trust
  • Space for growth as the brands scale, with potential to expand responsibilities and shape overall creative strategy

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, ensuring workloads are balanced and projects are delivered on time
  • Organize Asana tasks daily, by assigning to individual designers, setting due dates, and updating tasks based on actual performance to maintain output momentum
  • Ensure timely revisions by reviewing and sending feedback on all design tasks throughout the day to avoid delays and maintain workflow continuity
  • Create precise briefs for Amazon listing images, A+ content, brand stories, and product designs, capturing every detail needed for successful execution, including detailed visual direction and micro-level design specifications
  • Review creative outputs, provide feedback, and drive iterations until the final product is polished and conversion-ready
  • Contribute directly to creative output, especially for Amazon listings, A+ content, brand stories, and product visuals, supporting up to 10 product launches per month, each requiring full suites of listing images, infographics, and supporting assets
  • Organize and track projects in Asana, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and updating based on performance
  • Maintain clear communication and revisions flow so designs are never delayed
  • Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and business objectives

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced: At least 2 years of experience as a designer, with a focus on product design in an eCommerce company or design agency
  • Leader: Skilled at managing a team of designers, providing constructive feedback, and setting clear direction
  • Hands-On: You still love to design and aren’t afraid to jump into Illustrator/ Photoshop when it counts
  • Driven and Results-Focused: You welcome clear, candid feedback, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and prioritize effective, conversion-focused design over creative indulgence
  • Detail-Oriented: You know how to translate abstract ideas into actionable, crystal-clear briefs
  • Organized: You’re confident managing deadlines in Asana, collaborating via Slack, and handling briefs in Google Docs or Notion
  • Hands-On Creative: Strong design background, capable of reviewing work with a critical eye and guiding improvements
  • Collaborative Communicator: Clear, timely, and professional in all interactions
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Photoshop Generative Fill, or other emerging creative tech)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 Days: You’ve onboarded, built rapport with the design team, and delivered your first briefs and reviews.

60 Days: You’re consistently streamlining workflows, delivering polished outputs, and improving revision speed.

90 Days: Your leadership is driving measurable impact, designs are higher quality, faster to market, and contributing to stronger brand performance.

  1. Intro Call – align on your background and the brand’s goals
  2. Design Task – show your skills with a short assignment
