Your mission is to transform the company’s operational engine into a reliable, optimized, and fully synchronized machine.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Supply Chain, Logistics Partners, Suppliers, and Customer Experience, ensuring stock discrepancies are corrected, order flows are seamless, and the organization always has the right products at the right time.

You bring process optimisation, strategic foresight, and the reliable workflows that allow the brand to scale.

This is a full-time, remote contractor role supporting a team working on CET timezone.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO


  • Develop and maintain reliable operational workflows across inventory accuracy, stock movements, and order flow.
  • Own the daily inventory pulse: monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and oversee day-to-day communication with logistics partners.
  • Create and update full quarterly forecasts, breaking down data by product category and supplier to drive purchasing decisions.
  • Build production plans and backward timelines for logistics using project-management tools to support revenue targets and growth projections.
  • Coordinate purchasing and supplier relationships, from sourcing new partners and gathering quotes to validating costs and ensuring accurate records.
  • Support retail and wholesale operations by organizing documentation, ensuring stock availability, and tracking order progress across workflows.
  • Ensure orders flow correctly across systems, resolving issues manually when required and validating logistics invoices and documentation.
  • Identify purchasing gaps and investigate inconsistencies to optimize processes and ensure the organization always has the right products at the right time.


WHO YOU ARE


  • You have 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or similar fields within DTC/eCommerce, ideally within beauty or another physical product category.
  • You possess strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to handle formulas, data structures, and modelling.
  • You have experience working with ERP or inventory management systems .
  • You have the ability to manage relationships with multiple suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders .
  • You demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail .
  • You hold a proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and implement solutions .
  • You possess clear written and verbal communication skills .


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE


30 Days: Audit all current inventory tools, internal spreadsheets, and logistics partner portals. Establish a daily rhythm for monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies. Get up to speed on all active supplier relationships and ensure immediate order flows are functioning correctly across systems.


60 Days: Take ownership of the demand forecasting model and build out the full quarterly forecast. Coordinate with internal teams to validate purchasing needs and identify any gaps in the production plan. Streamline the documentation process for retail partners and international shipments.


90 Days: Fully own the operational engine, ensuring a seamless connection between supply chain, operations, and customer experience. Drive strategic decisions regarding supplier development and new product costing. Ensure the organisation achieves optimal inventory accuracy and always has the right products at the right time with zero operational friction.


RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Test Assignment: Practical task focused on spreadsheet analysis, forecasting models, or inventory problem-solving to assess analytical skills and attention to detail
