You’d be joining a fast-scaling DTC incubator, building and growing multiple e-commerce brands from the ground up. Their portfolio spans high-growth consumer categories, with one of their flagship successes being a personalized gifting brand that has quickly become a leader in the US market. Specializing in customized jewelry and gift sets, the brand is known for making thoughtful gifting effortless and memorable.

Across the portfolio, the team operates lean with a culture rooted in testing, iteration, and performance. Paid social (Meta) is the primary growth engine, supported by a strong focus on creative strategy and data-driven execution.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Write high-converting ad scripts for Paid Social ads - designed to drive conversions and scale
  • Generate new hooks, angles, and messaging rooted in customer pains, objections, and desires, and systematically build variations (hook/body/CTA) around proven winners
  • Turn insights into performance by studying competitors’ ads, customer reviews, and emerging cultural trends, then shaping them into high-leverage scripts and briefs
  • Dive into the data: read account dashboards to identify which creative elements (that hook at 0:03, that CTA, that framing) are moving the needle, and double down
  • Collaborate with creators and editors to make sure final outputs align with persuasion logic and script intent
  • Document and scale learnings by building a playbook of swipeable copy frameworks, successful angles, and winning formats
  • Act as a creative thought partner within the growth team, helping inform product launches and campaign priorities through data-backed creative insights


WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience: 2+ years in creative strategy with DTC brands, with a portfolio of high-impact copywriting work
  • Brand-side depth: Experience working in-house for one brand, contributing directly to its growth
  • Copywriting skills: Proven experience writing compelling ad copy, scripts, and marketing content for eCommerce brands
  • Data-oriented: Comfortable analyzing metrics to inform creative decisions without sacrificing originality
  • Strategic thinker: Able to zoom between big-picture vision and tactical execution, and create a variety of strategies for platforms such as Meta and TikTok
  • Organized: Thrives managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments
  • Problem-solver: Self-motivated to push projects forward without heavy oversight
  • Clear communicator: Strong written and verbal skills to articulate creative vision


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 Days

  • Audit existing ad copy and creative performance
  • Launch first rounds of new scripts and creative tests based on quick wins

60 Days

  • Establish reporting cadence on CAC and performance metrics
  • Deliver consistent rounds of ad copy iterations that improve acquisition efficiency

90 Days

  • Fully own ad copy and messaging strategy for paid social
  • Present a quarterly copy roadmap with clear testing hypotheses
  • Deliver systematic winners (VSLs, UGC scripts, angles) that drive predictable results
