In high-growth DTC, a landing page isn't just a digital storefront - it’s the engine that determines the viability of every dollar spent on paid traffic. Our client doesn't just look for "optimization"; they look for architectural excellence. They are seeking a strategic leader who can deconstruct a product’s value proposition and rebuild it into a high-converting offer that sustains massive scale.

We are representing an elite performance marketing agency that serves as the end-to-end acquisition engine for category-defining wellness brands. They are looking for a heavy-hitting Head of CRO to own the conversion strategy across their entire roster.


YOUR MISSION

As the Head of CRO, you are the lead architect of the funnel. You will act as the strategic bridge between client vision and technical delivery. You will analyze client offerings, engineer breakthrough offers, and blueprint the high-performance landing pages that sell them.

You will own the process from the first brainstorm to the final pixel, leading a team of designers and developers to ensure every specification is met and every page is optimized for maximum ROI across 10+ client accounts.


This is a full-time contractor role.

  • Fully remote with at least 5 hours of overlap with EST
  • Up to $5k per year for courses, development, and certifications.
  • Up to 2 weeks of coordinated vacation plus annual team meetups.


WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING INTO

  • Strategic Offer Engineering: Deconstruct client products to build the offers and page layouts that make paid traffic campaigns profitable.
  • Design Architecture: Create high-fidelity layouts and specs (using client assets and copy) for the development team to execute.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and manage the hand-off to designers and developers, overseeing the delivery of finished products for a diverse client roster.
  • Conversion Tech: Use Replo, Zipify, or custom-coded specs to drive massive conversion lifts.
  • Data Mastery: Utilize Google Analytics and testing tools to find the bottlenecks, kill the losers, and scale the winners.
  • Strategic Interfacing: Join high-level client calls intermittently to lead the charge on new offer development and creative strategy.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a proven track record leading page testing and conversion strategy for major 8 or 9-figure DTC brands or high-growth agencies.
  • You understand the specific nuances of building high-converting funnels for consumer packaged goods and brands that rely on paid traffic to scale.
  • You can take a messy client brainstorm or existing site content and turn it into a clear, actionable design spec that a developer or designer can execute perfectly.
  • You are an expert in Replo, Zipify, or similar page builders. You are equally comfortable providing custom-coded specs or getting hands-on with the build yourself if needed.
  • You are fluent in Google Analytics and modern page testing tools. You don't just "feel" what works; you prove it.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 days: Master internal workflows and independently see CRO projects from ideation to completion.
  • 60 days: Own client "offer brainstorming" sessions and establish a consistent, high-output rhythm.
  • 90 days: Serve as the go-to resource for the entire agency, taking projects from a blank page to a live, high-converting reality.
