We’re working with a category-defining DTC brand in the premium beauty and anti-aging space. The brand has already broken through 8 figures and is now focused on global expansion and scaling to 9 figures. Acquisition systems are tight. The team is strong.

Now they’re looking for a Creative Strategist to push their growth even further.

This is not a role for someone who “occasionally” thinks about creative strategy. This is for someone who understands that large-scale growth is driven by relentless creative testing and a high output of data-backed ideas. Someone who can translate performance metrics into clear, high-converting creative direction - quickly and consistently.


YOUR MISSION

Own the creative testing engine. Act as the connector between media data and creative execution, turning audience insights and performance signals into a steady stream of sharp, test-ready creative briefs every week.

You’ll build the framework, define the experiments, and produce the concepts that lower CPAs, increase ROAS, and unlock continuous, profitable scale.


This is a full-time contractor role.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused purely on generating and validating creative hypotheses at scale. 

  • Design, write, and finalize a high volume of highly structured, testable creative briefs for paid social channels (Meta, TikTok).
  • Act as the critical bridge between the Media Buying team and the Creative team, transforming CPA, ROAS, CTR, and CVR performance metrics into actionable, testable creative hypotheses.
  • Implement and manage a rigorous, rapid-fire A/B testing structure, focused on systematic testing (iterations, variations, structured cycles) of creative angles, hooks, and scripts.
  • Conduct continuous audience research and review customer feedback loops to constantly mine new creative angles, psychological triggers, and value propositions based on a deep understanding of consumer psychology.
  • Work hand-in-hand with media buyers and editors to ensure briefs are executed accurately, and performance data is immediately extracted and translated into new hypotheses.
  • Write initial ad copy (hooks, headlines, body text) for briefs to establish the core direct-response value proposition and testing parameters for the creative execution team.
  • Develop and document the creative briefing system, ensuring seamless collaboration, minimal friction, and maximum speed from brief inception to ad launch.


WHO YOU ARE

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in performance-driven creative strategy specifically for Meta and TikTok ads.
  • You have a proven track record of creating a high volume of structured creative briefs for a fast-scaling DTC brand or performance marketing agency.
  • Proven track record of creating angles, hooks, and scripts that directly generated profitable scale for products.
  • You live in the ad platform data, with a strong grasp of CPC/CPA economics and LTV optimization, and possess the ability to extract insights from metrics and turn them into new creative hypotheses.
  • You have experience testing creative systematically (iterations, variations) and know how to organize concepts into clear, repeatable testing taxonomies.
  • Highly skilled at working cross-functionally with media buyers and editors to ensure tight execution and rapid feedback loops.


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Direct DTC experience in the wellness, beauty, or anti-aging industry.
  • Background as a performance copywriter, UGC strategist, or creative lead in a direct response-focused team.
  • Expertise with TikTok ad strategy and creating briefs specifically for short-form, organic-style content.
