Our client is a category-defining DTC brand in the health and wellness space, and they are looking for a Conversion Scientist, someone who understands the intersection of direct-response psychology, data-driven experimentation, and high-velocity execution. In this role, you will take full ownership of the conversion ecosystem, acting as the integrator of growth by aligning copy, design, and data to eliminate performance bottlenecks, diversify acquisition angles, and accelerate funnel velocity.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Build and test up to 20 funnels per year (minimum 2 per month), identifying different psychological angles and acquisition hooks.
  • Drive the overall website CVR from 1.49% to north of 2.1% through relentless optimization of LPs, PDPs, and checkout flows.
  • Lead weekly A/B and multivariate testing cycles. No "best guesses" - only data-backed winners.
  • Build a diversified "funnel portfolio" (1–2 hero funnels generating $10M+ each, supported by moderate funnels generating $3M–$6M).
  • Deep dive into RPV, CVR, and behavioral analytics to translate "clicks" into structural funnel improvements.
  • Partner with the CEO, Creative, and Media Buying teams to ensure seamless message match and creative continuity from the initial ad click through to the final conversion.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 4+ years of hands-on CRO and funnel-building experience, specifically scaling DTC brands with high AOV products.
  • You don’t just "tweak buttons"; you build end-to-end acquisition funnels from scratch that can handle massive cold traffic spend.
  • You have a deep understanding of direct-response thinking (copy structure, offer psychology) and cold traffic mechanics.
  • You are an expert in A/B testing methodology and frameworks, with a proactive, high-ownership mindset.
  • You are highly analytical and focused on driving the highest business impact (RPV, CVR, and Revenue Delta).


Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in high-ticket beauty tech or medical-grade wellness devices.
  • UX/UI wireframing capability (Figma-level clarity).
  • Understanding of psychological segmentation and "angle" diversification.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 Days: You’ve audited the ecosystem, identified the top 3 structural bottlenecks, and implemented 1–2 "quick win" improvements to build momentum.
  • 90 Days: You’ve increased absolute CVR by +0.20%, launched 2 new funnels, and have at least one new funnel hitting break-even or better ROAS.
  • 12 Months: You’ve built a portfolio of 3–5 validated, scalable funnels contributing $18M–$26M in annual revenue, with the main site CVR consistently sitting above 2.1%.


RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  1. Screening Call: A 30-minute deep dive with our recruitment team to discuss your background and past performance impact.

  3. The "Audit" Challenge: A hands-on video task where you’ll record a teardown of a funnel and present your high-impact hypotheses.
