We’re partnering with a fast‑scaling ecommerce company behind multiple DTC brands in the home, kitchen, and lifestyle space. They’re looking for a bookkeeper to own the day-to-day accuracy of our financial operations. This is not a "background" role; you will be the guardian of their transaction data, ensuring every cent is accounted for across multiple payment processors, brands, and international borders.



Your mission is to maintain an auditable, real-time "source of truth" for the brand's financials. You will be responsible for the daily pulse of their cash flow, reconciling accounts, managing the accounts payable lifecycle, and ensuring the data in Finaloop is 100% accurate. You will act as the right hand to the Finance Manager, providing the clean datasets and proactive insights needed to drive global growth and prepare the business for future acquisition or investment.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO

• Reconciliations & Transaction Accuracy:  Reconcile all bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors daily in Finaloop.
• Ensure correct categorization of all transactions based on internal mapping rules.
• Monitor and reconcile refunds, chargebacks, processing fees, and adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve missing or delayed payouts while proactively flagging cash-flow risks.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:  Own the full AP process: invoice intake, verification, coding, and due-date monitoring.
• Track open purchase orders and supplier balances to support payment scheduling.
• Maintain accurate AR records, verifying payout timing across various platforms.
• Payroll & Cash Flow Support:  Maintain accurate payroll data for new joiners, changes, and contractor payments.
• Validate salaries, bonuses, and reimbursements before processing.
• Capture and reconcile all daily inflows and outflows to ensure cash records are perfect.
• Month-End & Documentation:  Prepare reconciled datasets for month-end close and support the Finance Manager with accruals and COGS entries.
• Maintain organized vendor records and ensure multi-brand activity remains fully separated and accurately mapped.

• Experienced: 2–3+ years in a finance role at a high‑growth DTC ecommerce brand
• Detail-Obsessed: You have a "zero-error" mindset and believe that if a number is off by a penny, it’s not finished.
• Systems-Savvy: You are comfortable working with tools like Finaloop and modern cloud-based accounting software.
• Proactive Problem Solver: You don’t just spot an anomaly; you investigate it, fix it, and suggest a way to prevent it from happening again.
• Organized & Auditable: You take pride in maintaining clean, structured documentation that can stand up to the most rigorous review.
