The business works because the people, the processes, and the infrastructure behind it work. This role exists to make sure all three stay that way, and to fix things fast when they don't.
This is a company that moves quickly. Departments are growing, headcount is scaling, and the systems haven't always kept pace. The founder has been holding the operational layer together himself. That's changing. The right person takes that weight entirely and runs with it - every department, every process, every problem that doesn't have a manual yet.
The expectation is simple: things run smoothly. And when they don't, you fix it.
WHO THEY ARE
The brand is a DTC health and wellness company built around a single hero product: a topical magnesium cream for people dealing with nerve pain, neuropathy, and joint discomfort. Tens of thousands of customers across multiple English-speaking markets - mostly older adults who have tried everything else and finally found something that works..
The business has grown fast. Revenue is in the eight figures, the team is approaching a hundred people, and they now need someone to make sure the infrastructure is there for continued success. Departments span video production, customer service, supply chain, development, copywriting, and media buying - each with its own manager, each requiring oversight.
The decisions are fast, and the people who perform here are the ones who don't need much managing. It's the kind of place where you can suggest something on Monday and test it by Wednesday - no committee, no approval process, just a founder who knows how to trust experts.
This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
-
Full operational ownership: Every department, every process, every problem - it's yours to manage and improve.
-
Direct impact: The work you do here is visible immediately. If something runs better, it's because of you.
-
Growth path: The goal is COO, and eventually CEO.
-
Autonomy: No micromanagement. You set the pace, build the systems, and own the results.
-
Remote: Work from wherever, on a schedule that aligns with the Dubai timezone.
-
Training budget: If there's a course or tool that makes you better at the job, it's covered.
WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO
- Oversee all departments and their managers so performance issues get caught and resolved.
- Build and implement systems across departments so the business runs predictably at scale.
- Spot broken processes, fix them, and make sure they stay fixed, whether that's through automation, restructuring, or just better ownership.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and providers so nothing falls through the cracks at the edges of the business.
- Take on high-priority problems as they come up, the kind that are blocking growth or costing money, and see them through to resolution.
- Create automations that reduce manual work and free up the team to focus on what actually moves the needle.
- Overview of supply chain operations and ensure the incoming supply chain manager is set up and accountable, even if the day-to-day isn't yours.
WHO YOU ARE
- You've worked in eCommerce and managed operations across multiple departments, not just one function.
- You've led teams through managers and are comfortable overseeing 20+ people across different areas.
- You can manage people, systems, and day-to-day operations at the same time.
- You proactively spot what's broken and fix it through systems, automations, or just better processes.
- You're comfortable jumping into any department, diagnosing the problem, and driving it to resolution.
- You don't need someone to define your priorities. You come in with a plan and execute it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
-
30 days: You understand how each department operates, where the gaps are, and what needs fixing first. You've taken ownership of at least one ongoing problem and started moving it forward.
-
60 days: Processes are cleaner, at least one meaningful automation is live, and department managers are reporting to you instead of the founder.
-
90 days: The founder hasn't had to intervene in an operational issue in weeks. Things run, problems get solved, and you're already working on what's next.
