We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who will own all marketing workflows, ClickUp boards, SOPs, reporting, and execution across Creative, CRO, Performance, Ecommerce, and Retention teams.

This role is the operational backbone of the marketing department - ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of all marketing outputs.

YOUR MISSION

Your mission is to bring structure, discipline, and flow to the entire marketing organization. You’ll ensure that every task is properly scoped, workflows are clean, deadlines are honored, and all marketing projects move through the pipeline with consistency and speed.


This is a full-time contractor role with flexible hours, working closely with the CMO.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

1. ClickUp ownership & workflow management

  • Own all Marketing ClickUp boards (Creative, CRO, Weekly Ops).
  • Turn Monday Sprint Meetings into structured tasks with assignees, deadlines, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain ClickUp hygiene: naming conventions, statuses, dependencies, tags, and automations.
  • Ensure the team uses ClickUp correctly; convert Slack requests into tasks.
  • Remove outdated tasks and keep boards clean, accurate, and reliable.


2. Sprint execution & task accountability

  • Run weekly marketing sprints and maintain flow across all pipelines.
  • Track progress daily, rebalance workloads, and remove blockers.
  • Follow up consistently on overdue tasks and keep deadlines top of mind for all stakeholders.


3. Cross-functional coordination

  • Keep Creative, Paid Media, CRO, Ecommerce, and Retention aligned on priorities.
  • Lead or document weekly editor/production check-ins.
  • Flag bottlenecks early and escalate to the CMO with proposed solutions.


4. SOPs, briefs & documentation

  • Ensure all briefs are complete before execution.
  • Build and maintain the Marketing SOP Library (templates, checklists, workflows).
  • Support onboarding of new marketing hires into ClickUp and sprint processes.


WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years in Marketing Operations, Project Management, or similar roles within a DTC eCommerce environment
  • Advanced ClickUp user with experience building systems from scratch
  • Strong project management skills; comfortable owning deadlines, structure, and accountability
  • Experienced working with creative, editing, or production teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment

Bonus points:

  • Experience in DTC subscription brands, performance marketing teams, creative pipelines, or CRO operations.



WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 Days: You understand the workflows, pipelines, priorities, and ClickUp structure. Boards are cleaner and tasks are fully scoped.

60 Days: Sprints run smoothly, tasks are completed on time, bottlenecks decrease, and the scorecard is accurate.

90 Days: Marketing operations are fully systemized. The team executes faster, delivers more consistently, and workflows run without friction.
