Creative Strategist (Kitchen brand)
Apply for this job

Creative Strategy at scale isn’t about guesswork, it’s about speed, precision, and relentless iteration.

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling kitchen brand on track to surpass $100M in revenue across Meta, AppLovin, YouTube, and more. They're looking for a Creative Strategist who can turn data into direction, and direction into high-performing assets.

If you live and breathe DTC, obsessively track what's working across the industry, and thrive in high-velocity environments where performance is the only truth that matters then this is your lane.

WHO THEY ARE

Our client is a performance-driven ecommerce brand that moves fast, cuts through red tape, and backs its people to make decisions. You'll work directly with the leadership team in a culture where problems get solved quickly, opportunities get seized even faster, and no one waits for permission to make things better.

What sets them apart:

  • Speed, agility, and a relentless bias for action
  • Aggressive growth targets with decision-making that actually moves
  • No corporate overhead — just smart people executing at a high level
  • Direct access to the founder and leadership team

This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Global Impact: Join a brand on a clear path to $100M+ in revenue across multiple global channels.
  • Full Ownership: Full autonomy to propose and prioritize creative ideas across the entire product line.
  • Rapid Growth: Clear path to Head of Creative for top performers.
  • Performance Upside: Base salary supplemented by monthly bonuses tied directly to creative impact and revenue.
  • Speed of Execution: See your ideas tested and scaled within days, not months.
  • Budget & Scale: Resources to test 10+ unique concepts every week.
  • Remote-first: Work fully remote from anywhere in a compatible timezone.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO

  • Own the entire creative lifecycle for your assigned product lines — from initial ideation to final asset.
  • Direct a dedicated team of video editors and graphic designers to execute high-performing content.
  • Maintain a high-velocity testing framework, launching a minimum of 10 unique concepts every week.
  • Write clear, insight-driven briefs for hooks, angles, and UGC direction that prioritize conversion over aesthetics.
  • Oversee ad copy — you'll be responsible for the copy direction on ads until a dedicated copywriter is in place.
  • Review weekly performance metrics with media buyers to turn CPA and MER data into actionable creative iterations.
  • Develop winning assets tailored for Meta, AppLovin, YouTube, and NewsBreak.
  • Use tools like Atria, Upspring, and Volume to analyze performance and guide creative decisions.
  • Stay obsessively on top of DTC industry trends, competitor strategies, and what's scaling across the broader ecommerce space.
  • Full decision-making power to propose and prioritize ideas that hit revenue goals.
  • Full-time commitment - this role requires full exclusivity.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3+ years of experience in performance creative or creative strategy within DTC/e-commerce - ideally from a 7- or 8-figure brand.
  • You don't just make content that looks good. You make content that performs.
  • You can turn product insights into strong creative angles through clear, compelling briefs.
  • You're data-literate and use metrics like CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop, and CVR to guide decisions, not gut feel alone.
  • You've directed and briefed a creative team of video editors, graphic designers, and UGC creators and know how to get the best output without micromanaging.
  • You're familiar with Meta, AppLovin, YouTube, and NewsBreak as performance channels.
  • You're comfortable with creative analysis tools such as Atria, Upspring, or Volume.
  • You move fast, think fast, and operate without needing constant direction.
  • You take full ownership of results and hold yourself accountable to performance goals.
  • You're always plugged into what's happening in DTC - tracking competitors, spotting trends, and bringing those insights back to the team without being asked.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 Days: You've fully taken over the Creative Strategy role, mastered the product lines, and learned the internal team processes.
  • 60 Days: You're consistently producing a meaningful volume of winning creatives that hit CPA goals.
  • 90 Days: You've established a predictable creative engine and are actively scaling the brand through new winning concepts.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Intro Chat: A quick conversation with our team about your background, creative experience, and what you're looking for next.
  • Test Task: A short paid exercise where you analyze competitor ads and propose a creative concept for the brand
  • Interview with Hiring Manager: A deeper conversation on your strategy, data approach, and creative briefs  including a walkthrough of your test task.
  • Final Interview: A conversation with senior leadership on goals, expectations, and long-term vision.
