Managing significant ad spend on Meta isn't the impressive part of this role. It's the starting point. What matters is what you do with it: which campaigns you kill on day three, what you decide to scale on day five, and whether you can read an account well enough that you don't need anyone telling you what to do next.
The right person for this role doesn't need a brief. They already have a theory.
WHO THEY ARE
The brand is a DTC health and wellness company built around a single hero product: a topical magnesium cream for people dealing with nerve pain, neuropathy, and joint discomfort. Tens of thousands of customers across the US, Canada, Australia, and Singapore - mostly older adults who have tried everything else and finally found something that works.
The acquisition stack runs across Meta, YouTube, Native, AppLovin and Google, with significant spend across all of them. This role owns Meta entirely. The creative pipeline is high-volume, the testing cadence is relentless, and the media buyers here operate with full autonomy once they've proven their thinking.
The decisions are fast, and the people who perform here are the ones who don't need much managing. It's the kind of place where you can suggest something on Monday and test it by Wednesday - no committee, no approval process, just a founder who knows how to trust experts.
This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
-
Full channel ownership: Take over Meta completely; you run it your way.
-
Performance upside: % on ad spend above 1.4 ROAS. At the current scale, that math gets interesting fast.
-
Room to grow: Build a team below you, expand into new channels, and grow into a Head of Paid role as the brand scales.
-
Autonomy: Once you've proven yourself, you operate exactly like the other channel buyers: independently.
-
Remote: Work from wherever, on a schedule that works for you.
WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO
- Drive the Meta account to significantly higher monthly spend while maintaining a 1.4+ ROAS.
- Launch and iterate on new campaigns every day to capitalise on a high-volume creative pipeline.
- Audit sales and revenue by cross-referencing Triplewhale data with CheckoutChamp to ensure scaling accuracy.
- Direct video editors and copywriters on which hooks and avatars to produce based on real-time performance data.
- Report directly to the founder on key metrics like CPA, ROAS, and successful scaling levers.
- Own the Meta channel entirely, making independent decisions on where to push the budget without needing guidance.
WHO YOU ARE
- You've independently managed and scaled Meta ad accounts at high monthly spend on a single brand or client.
- You've worked in DTC or performance-driven environments and thrive without hand-holding.
- You don't need a brief to know what to test next.
- You can walk into an unfamiliar account and diagnose it fast.
- You know your ROAS, CPA, CPM, and CTR inside out.
- You have strong creative instincts - you know a good hook when you see one.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
-
30 days: You've taken full ownership of the account. You know the offer, the creative library, and what's been tested before. Campaigns are live and first insights are already coming in.
-
60 days: ROAS is stable or improving. You're testing consistently, scaling what works, and cutting what doesn't. The CEO isn't asking what's happening on Meta; you're telling them.
-
90 days: The account is performing at a higher level than when you found it. Spend is up, ROAS targets are being hit, and you're operating fully independently.
