This brand isn't hiring a content generalist; they want a performance creative who can turn a Creative Strategist's brief into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused video content.


THE BRAND


A fast‑scaling DTC wellness brand in the beauty/supplement space with a highly engaged 35+ female audience. The flagship product boasts a strong market fit and a rapidly growing subscriber base, with over 50,000 subscribers in the first 18 months. Paid social (Meta first) is their biggest channel; creative testing and iteration sit at the center of the strategy. The company is founder‑led, lean, and data‑driven, expanding in the UK/EU and preparing for a US launch.


The founding story is rooted in solving a real customer need: the founder created a better‑tasting, more affordable alternative for his own family, then scaled it into a category‑defining brand. That test‑and‑learn DNA still drives the culture today.


This is a fully remote, full-time role.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN


  • Generate high-volume UGC video ads from raw creator footage, ensuring they convert by strictly following detailed creative briefs.
  • Craft compelling mini VSL-style ads (2-4 minutes) with smooth pacing and narratives designed to maximize viewer retention and drive conversions.  
  • Produce impactful AI voiceover ads by seamlessly integrating B-roll, stock footage, and brand assets to visually support the script and hook the audience.  
  • Maximize engagement and retention by strategically adding captions, text overlays, hooks, and visual elements that stop the scroll and keep viewers watching.  
  • Ensure creative alignment and scalability by meticulously following brand guidelines and matching the tone/style of high-performing reference ads.  
  • Unlock scale through systematic testing by efficiently iterating and creating multiple hook, body, and CTA variations for A/B split testing.  
  • Enhance production value by sourcing and integrating high-quality stock footage, B-roll, and brand assets as needed.  
  • Refine ad performance by actively collaborating with the Creative Strategist and Founder, offering unique insights and input to improve ad variations.  
  • Ensure production efficiency by maintaining organized project files and meeting consistent, rapid deadlines set by the Creative Strategist.  


WHO YOU ARE


  • At least 2+ years of experience doing long-form UGC video edits and VSL edits for an e-commerce brand (not necessarily in the supplements space).
  • Possess a portfolio of similar direct response ads ready to share.
  • Proficient in your choice of editing tool (e.g., CapCut, Adobe, etc.) and Frame.io for Creative Reviews.
  • Have a strong understanding of direct response video ad structure (Hook, Problem, Agitation, Education, Solution, CTA).
  • Strong English language skills and video pacing understanding.


Bonus if you have: 


  • Experience editing ads for DTC health, wellness, or supplement brands
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Library and competitor research
  • Experience with motion graphics or basic animation (not required, but a plus)
  • Knowledge of current Meta/TikTok ad trends and best practices


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE


30 Days

  • Nail the brand's specific editing style and be fully integrated into their workflows.
  • Start making UGC Edits within the first 2 weeks.


60 Days

  • Consistently produce high-quality, high-volume edits assigned by the Creative Strategist.
  • Receive ongoing feedback and incorporate it efficiently.


90 Days

  • Demonstrate consistent quality and performance, with edits achieving a hit rate comparable to the Creative Strategist's other editors.
  • Continue to offer unique, data-informed insights to improve ad variations.
