We’re supporting a category-leading DTC brand with multiple sales channels and over 70,000+ orders per month in the search for a Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of their logistics, inventory, and demand planning.


The biggest challenge is clear: establishing an accurate, data-reactive demand planning/forecasting system that scales with rapid fluctuations in marketing spend. This is an opportunity to be the analytical backbone of a high-growth business, turning complexity into clarity and saving significant capital through operational excellence.


If you have "been there and done that" at a large-scale eCommerce brand with subscriptions and a complex SKU portfolio, and your analytical skills are your superpower, this is your chance to own the entire supply chain department as the company targets $500M+ in revenue.


YOUR MISSION

Take full, end-to-end ownership of the Supply Chain and Inventory Management process. Your primary mission is to establish, maintain, and continuously optimize a world-class demand planning and forecasting system that accurately reflects sales fluctuations across all channels, ensuring optimal inventory levels, maximum cash efficiency, and zero stock-outs.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

Demand Planning & Analytics

  • Review all sales analytics daily/weekly to ensure that fluctuations in marketing spend and sales velocity are immediately and accurately reflected in demand plans and forecasts.
  • Prepare, decide, and execute all purchase orders, optimizing order quantities and timing to maintain ideal inventory levels across all sales channels.
  • Track and manage all 'cash out' allocated to existing orders and held inventory, ensuring peak cash conversion cycle efficiency.


Logistics & Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of communication for all key parties: manufacturers, 3PL/warehouses. 
  • Coordinate communication and shipments between all manufacturers, warehouses, and sales channels.
  • Take over existing relationships and establish yourself as the reliable, clear, and concise partner for all external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the QA process for design materials is strictly followed before passing specifications to manufacturing partners, eliminating errors.


Systems & Process Ownership

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to build a standardized, repeatable supply chain process.
  • Establish and maintain a clear, concise system for tracking KPIs and inventory health.


WHO YOU ARE

  • Extensive experience managing the supply chain for a large-scale eCommerce brand that runs subscriptions and handles 50+ SKUs.
  • Your skill in Excel is elite; you live in spreadsheets and can create complex, dynamic models for forecasting and cost analysis. 
  • Deeply versed in Shopify analytics and can leverage the data to drive precise demand planning decisions. 
  • You are a master of clear and direct communication, able to simplify complex supply chain concepts for senior leadership and external partners.
  • You QA everything and understand that carelessness and mistakes in data or documentation lead to high-cost errors in manufacturing or stock-outs.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience in the Beauty, Wellness, or Personal Care product industries.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools like Checkoutchamp or ShipHero.
  • Willingness to travel to the US and China if necessary for partner relationship management.
