Most content roles at early-stage companies come with a narrow brief: write the blog posts, keep the calendar moving, don't get in the way. This one is different, and the difference matters.
A small, founder-led team building two B2C brands is looking for an SEO Content & Marketing Associate to own a meaningful slice of the content and marketing execution engine across both. One brand is a fast-growing D2C ecommerce business already generating real customer data and growth momentum. The other is a well-funded, pre-launch AI privacy company being built by a team of seasoned operators with a track record of scaling and exiting a global consumer brand.
This isn't a content coordinator role. It's a role for someone who can combine execution with judgment, move across SEO, social, email, landing pages, and support content without needing every step spelled out, and use AI tools intelligently rather than just leaning on whatever the model produces first.
If you're the kind of marketer who creates order from ambiguity, holds your own work to a high standard, and genuinely wants to contribute to something being built from the ground up, this is worth reading.
WHO THEY ARE
A small, founder-led team building B2C products in categories where trust matters. The two brands this role supports sit at opposite ends of the maturity curve, which is part of what makes the opportunity interesting.
The first is a D2C ecommerce brand selling a countertop water purification product that's grown quickly since launching last year. The second is a pre-launch AI company being built around a simple premise: people should be able to use AI tools without worrying that their most private conversations or data could be exposed or misused. It's being built by a team with deep roots in privacy and cybersecurity, including founders who previously scaled and exited a major global consumer brand.
The culture is direct, high-ownership, and comfortable with ambiguity. They don't expect perfection, but they do expect clear thinking, strong writing, reliable follow-through, and the ability to learn quickly and improve without being nudged into it.
This is a fully remote contractor role based in the Philippines. The required schedule is 1AM to 10AM Philippines time, Tuesday through Saturday.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
-
Work across two genuinely interesting brands: A live ecommerce business with real growth needs and a pre-launch AI company entering a fast-moving, important category, both at an early enough stage that your work has direct impact.
-
Direct access to experienced founders: The people you'll report to have built and scaled global consumer brands before. This is a real learning environment, not a managed handoff culture.
-
Meaningful autonomy over time: Once you understand the brands and quality bar, you'll have real input into content priorities, SEO opportunities, and workflow improvements, not just a list of tasks to complete.
-
A role that expands with you: Strong performance here opens the door to greater ownership of content strategy, organic growth, email and lifecycle content, and eventually management of freelancers and external specialists.
-
Investment in your development: The team is open to investing in training and courses and will consider anything you bring to them.
WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO
This role is focused on building and managing the content execution engine across SEO, social, email, landing pages, and support content for two brands simultaneously.
You will:
- Own SEO content execution including blog posts, keyword research, on-page optimization, competitor ranking research, and guest posting support
- Manage social media profiles for both brands, including planning content calendars, scheduling posts, organizing ideas, and keeping publishing consistent
- Draft email copy and help build campaigns and flows in Klaviyo
- Write and improve landing page copy, informational page copy, social posts, customer support macros, and other marketing content
- Turn company ideas, customer questions, product updates, and competitor research into useful content across SEO, social, email, and web
- Help build and publish pages using the website tools and CMS
- Use AI tools to speed up research, drafting, editing, repurposing, optimization, and light graphic design, while applying real judgment to what the tools produce
- Manage content projects, deadlines, briefs, drafts, publishing steps, and feedback loops across both brands simultaneously
WHO YOU ARE
-
You have experience in content or digital marketing with meaningful exposure beyond SEO writing, including social media, email campaigns, landing pages, or broader marketing execution
-
You write in clear, strong English and can adapt your voice for blogs, landing pages, emails, support content, and social posts
-
You have solid SEO fundamentals including keyword research, competitor research, and on-page optimization, and you're comfortable with tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush
-
You use AI tools intelligently, meaning you can prompt well, critique what comes back, and improve output rather than treating the first draft as final
-
You're organized enough to manage multiple content projects across two brands without things falling through the cracks
-
You work independently and follow through without needing to be chased or have every step spelled out
-
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can create structure and momentum in an environment where not every process is fully defined
-
You're reliable and communicative, especially when something is unclear, blocked, or needs flagging
Bonus points if you have:
-
Experience with D2C ecommerce, AI, SaaS, software, privacy, or tech content
-
Exposure to Klaviyo or similar email platforms
-
Experience with CMS page building or conversion-focused copy
-
Any background in customer support content or help documentation
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
-
30 Days: You understand both brands, their products, customers, and marketing priorities. You've learned the content standards, tools, and workflows, and you're already contributing across SEO, social, email, and support content with regular feedback shaping your work.
-
60 Days: You're owning regular content execution across channels with increasing independence. Keyword research, competitor research, and content ideas are coming from you, not just being assigned. Social calendars and publishing cadences are consistent and on time.
-
90 Days: You're managing a repeatable content workflow independently, consistently producing high-quality drafts and page updates, identifying SEO and content opportunities proactively, and meaningfully reducing the amount of founder time required to keep content moving forward.
