We’re partnering with a fast-scaling ecommerce company that’s building and growing DTC brands in the home, kitchen, and lifestyle space. They’re looking for a sharp, conversion-focused Direct Response Copywriter who can take cold traffic and turn it into paying customers through persuasive, high-impact copy that drives results.
This role is about more than just writing. It’s about understanding human psychology, crafting clear and compelling narratives, and building full-funnel assets that move prospects from curiosity to purchase. From VSLs and upsells to advertorials, listicles, and paid ads, the right candidate will know how to develop copy that performs, and how to keep improving it once it’s live.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO
This isn’t a support role. You’ll take full ownership of copy across multiple brands and funnels. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-performing assets on time, on brief, and optimized for results.
Expect to:
- Write long-form sales assets including VSLs, mini-VSLs, upsells, and post-purchase flows
- Build landing pages, advertorials, listicles, and quiz funnels from scratch
- Develop ad copy for platforms like Meta, YouTube, Applovin, and native channels
- Craft hooks, angles, and messaging based on deep customer and competitor research
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to launch full funnels
- Use data and feedback to refine copy and improve performance post-launch
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to streamline drafts and testing, without sacrificing quality
- Keep projects moving without needing reminders or micromanagement
- Communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced performance culture
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience writing direct response copy for DTC or ecommerce brands, ideally at 8–9 figure scale
- Strong portfolio of VSLs, advertorials, landing pages, and ads with clear performance impact
- Deep understanding of buyer psychology and how to structure copy that converts cold traffic
- Able to manage multiple projects across funnels, brands, and formats with minimal oversight
- Comfortable collaborating with strategists, designers, developers, and media buyers
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership from brief to launch
- Clear, concise communicator who can explain thinking and take feedback well
- Self-directed, fast-moving, and focused on outcomes over polish
Bonus if you’ve:
- Worked with media buying teams on high-volume paid traffic campaigns
- Written successful mini-VSLs or quiz funnels
- Taken a product from zero to scale with copy at the center of the growth strategy
