They’ve mastered acquisition, cracked the code on performance marketing, and built a team of A-players. What they need now is an executional force, a COO who can take full ownership of operations, supply chain, product, finance, sales, customer success, and data, and scale it all without losing momentum.

This is a fully remote contractor role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely across all departments. For candidates based in the US, the arrangement is under a 1099 contract.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO
Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable
- Lead a cross-functional team of 10–15 (Heads of Ops, Finance, Product, Customer Support, Sales & Supply Chain).
- Act as a true integrator and second-in-command, ensuring full execution of company-wide goals.
- Drive a culture of extreme ownership, fast iteration, and high accountability.

Build a team of A-player doers, not managers of managers, and implement weekly KPIs, scorecards, and tracking systems.
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Oversee end-to-end operations from demand planning to last-mile delivery.
- Manage 3PLs, factories, packaging vendors, and freight forwarders.
- Optimize COGS, landed cost, inventory efficiency, and cash conversion cycle.
Customer Support
- Ensure CS is world-class, brand-aligned, and metrics-led.
- Reduce subscription churn through training, scripting, and operational optimization.
- Oversee weekly tracking of CSAT, refund rates, response times, and customer feedback loops.
DTC Sales
- Build and scale the consultative sales department (e.g. "Book a Call With an Aesthetician" funnel).
- Recruit, train, and manage a performance-driven sales team from the ground up.
- Own all sales KPIs: conversion rate, AOV uplift, consult-to-close %, subscription conversion.
Product Development & Compliance
- Oversee NPD and EPD processes, ensuring compliance with FDA, CE, MOCRA, etc.
- Implement structured customer feedback loops to guide product innovation.
Financial Planning & Profitability
- Partner with Head of Finance and CEO on forecasting, modeling, and LTV:CAC optimization.
- Own the variable cost structure and margin-driving operational levers.
- Build dashboards and systems for real-time visibility into ops KPIs.
Data & Business Intelligence
- Centralize and clean operational data across departments.
- Manage the analyst team to deliver weekly reporting across CX, fulfillment, supply chain, and finance.
M&A & Exit Preparation
- Prepare legal, operational, and data infrastructure for acquisition or investment.
- Optimize operating model and margin levers with valuation in mind.

- Experience leading operations at a high 8 or 9-figure DTC or consumer brand
- Background in digital-first businesses with 80%+ revenue online
- Strong grasp of CPC/CPA economics, subscription models, and LTV optimization
- Obsessed with dashboards, KPIs, and margin control; you know how to make the numbers work for you
- Brings a serious work ethic and appetite for growth over comfort
- Skilled at hiring and leading teams of 20+ across multiple disciplines
